My 1st Song - Jay-Z
I’ve dismissed rap my whole life as being a stupid genre, for whatever reason. The stereotypical lyrical content never did anything for me, and I think I was put off by the idea of other people putting together the actual music and then calling it your own (even if accurate credit is given). I don’t know, I guess that was just me being close-minded and prejudiced. But I’m finding more and more often that some of it is actually… really, really good.
