Just watched Seinfeld with Pat and Brittany - it was an awesome way to end an extremely stressful week. I hope Thursday Night Seinfeld becomes a thing.

mightykendar: Looking through Bob Nanna (Braid, Hey Mercedes, The City on Film)’s Never Ending Polaroid project on Flickr…some familiar faces… All of the photos can be seen here. There are only 200, currently, and they’re over 10 years old, but it would definitely be neat to see the project continue. This is AMAZING.  Braid is somehow related to just about every band I love (even the...

“Every thousand years, this metal sphere ten times the size of Jupiter floats just a few yards past the Earth.  You climb on your roof and take a swipe at it with a single feather; hit it once every thousand years ‘til you’ve worn it down to the size of a pea.  Yeah, I’d say that’s a long time… but it’s only half a blink in the place you’re gonna...

The Beta Band are absolutely amazing.
But for some reason listening through their albums in one sitting always feels like a chore.

Oh, and the other part of that is that I was hoping to weed through the older half of my collection to find CDs that I’ll never listen to again / could sell (i.e. my near-complete of Montreal collection, haha).  I’m just afraid I’ll come back and realize that most of it is stuff I’m ashamed to still own. Would you sell stuff like that, knowing that you won’t get much...

Since the end of August 2010 my music collection has been split into two sub-collections: the stuff I had from high school, and the stuff I collected while at college.  My high-school collection obviously stayed at home, and in the process of moving back to Maine this summer it was put into storage before I got a chance to see it again.  Tomorrow I’m going home for the first time since...

heathenchemistry: i mean if he came out of nowhere with his acoustic guitar and was like, “oh hey sam, would you like me to sing to you all the time, totally not in a romantic way?” i would be like, “why yes mike kinsella, i would really appreciate that.”  and then he would sing “one of these days” followed by “a bird in hand” and i would melt before he could get through the rest of “at home...

These past two days have re-affirmed my passion for physics. There are times when I’m overwhelmed with work and due dates, and I wonder why I chose the major I did.  I think I could’ve been something else, like a writer maybe.  I don’t know.  But moments like this are the best, and they make it all worth it.

If school ever drives me to the point of an existential crisis, I think I’m gonna do it Isaac Brock-style and find myself through living along the highways of the northwest.
