I hate Ann Coulter.
All she spouts out are lies and ad hominems of liberals and over-generalizes.
She misinforms so many people of so many things. Like evolution.
It is truly scary people actually listen to her.
Her and Rush Limbaugh.
Saetia - Closed Hands
The Dismemberment Plan - The Ice of Boston
Perfectly fitting right now. Great fucking song.
Which means that tonight is buff chick night at York. Oh how I have waited for this night.

Modern life is war.
At the Drive-In- Invalid Litter Dept.
Intravenously polite, it was the walkie-talkies that knocked the pins down…
I’m finally getting around to hearing it for the first time now, and it’s really… not that bad. If you go into it understanding that there’s no way you could expect them to pick up exactly where they left off with Frame & Canvas, I’d say it’s actually pretty enjoyable. I wouldn’t say it’s life-changing or anything (like Braid’s earlier work absolutely is), but it sure is better than most of the stuff I’ve heard come out of 2011 so far.
Last year had its ups and downs, but in retrospect I really was having the time of my life at school.
Now I haven’t even been back a full day yet and I’m already back to having that collegiate mindset - once again, I’m having the time of my life.
I might be away from tumblr and the internet in general for a while; I’ve got lots of unpacking left to do, first of all, and before we fall back into the our daily routines I’m going to make the most of this time while everything is still fresh and exciting.
I made my way to a party all the way across town… it was thrown by the friend of an ex-thing. I wasn’t sure if I should go, but when I got up in the place there were smiles all up and down. I grabbed my ex in the kitchen, I told her I was sorry I came, but she looked at me with a glazed smile and said: “you are invited by anyone to do anything.”
If you could see how excited I am right now…
Braid - A Dozen Roses
a dozen roses in the car
and i don’t know where you are
maybe i don’t know what i’m doing
you’re moving like a movie
you still move me
among the other ones
and twos and threes and twenty-threes
got to keep my conscience clean
but that hurricane what’s-her-name
mentality was not for me
and never could be
cause it surely brings bitter things
and misery
and i say
heaven hits me hard
in with the new
heaven hits me hardly
in with the news
whatever gets me started
in with the noose
have you ever had a heaven here
and was it clear?
cause i just wrote a letter
a confession down the ladder
that things could be so much better
and through follow the leader
i met her and then another end
and usually a grudge
but i loved so much
the way we touched and psuedo-kissed
oh i already miss you singing like this
over the phone
every now and every then i tend to pretend
i’m not alone
i’m not alone
i’m not so alone
static made old radio
now i know
static made old radio
heaven hits me hard
in with the new
heaven hits me hardly
in with the news
whatever gets me started
in with the noose
have you ever had a heaven here
and was it clearly better?
Probably my favorite Braid song.
petty problems - defiance, ohio
Speaking of petty problems…
This used to be my favorite album/band. Haven’t listened in forever but a few years ago this meant everything to me.
what a nightmare.
I’ve never been a big Sigur Rós fan but this song always hits me so hard.
Cap’n Jazz - ¡Que Suerte!
I get up at 5 AM, I so don’t need those dreams I used to have.
David Combs (Spoonboy)
(via caviarmpits)
there should be a college class on Isaac Brock’s lyrics.
- Interviewer: So why do you write these strong female characters?
- Whedon: Because you're still asking me that question.
